INTRODUCTION
The University of Western Ontario, established in 1878, is highly-esteemed and considered to be one of the best universities in Canada.The university had become secular in 1908 and was renamed to its present name in 1923. Western is known to provide the best student experience in Canada among research-intensive universities. It is undoubtedly a party school, but students still care about academic success. STUDENT LIFE
The University Students' Council recognizes more than 180 student organizations and clubs, in which more than 19,500 people are a member.[52] These clubs and organizations cover a wide range of interests such as academics, culture, religion, social issues, and recreation.
CAMPUS INFO & SERVICES
Western's campus is absolutely breathtaking. With more than 150 clubs, UWO has a group for literally any area of interest. The legal drinking age in Canada is 19, so students hit up London's nightlife for most of their Western years. Almost any errand can be done on campus; the University Community Centre offers health care, a pharmacy, a post office, and much more. The university's student population also operates a number of media outlets throughout the campus environment.
PAYING FOR SCHOOL
The annual fees for local undergraduate students is 5,000-7,500 US$ (3,700-5,500 Euro) whereas for postgraduate students it is 5,000-7,500 US$ (3,700-5,500 Euro). And the annual fees for international undergraduate students is 15,000-17,500 US$ (11,000-12,900 Euro) whereas for postgraduate students it is 15,000-17,500 US$ (11,000-12,900 Euro).
